An essential diagnostic tool for testing potentially faulty electro mechanical relays. This tool tests both 12V / 24V relays, with four / five pins (not late model Ford 4 pin).

Simply plug the relay into the tester - using 12V vehicle power, the relay will be cycled 10 times with the tester applying a signal to the relay coil while checking the function of the internal contacts. The tester applies load to the internal contacts to detect excessive resistance.

The PPPWM is an adapter that is plugged into Power Probe products with 4mm banana plugs (such as THE MAESTRO / PP4 / PP3 / PP3EZ etc).

The adapter can be set for the output 0-100% pulse width drive waveform by pressing the key. It is mainly used for automotive applications such as automotive fan circuit detection, to find the part of the circuit failure, in order to replace and repair.

Compatible with standard 4 and 5 terminal relay circuits and can be used with most car makes and models. The RelaySim Pro can energise any relay that powers DC electric motors, fuel pumps, cooling fans, blower motors, window motors, and any other motor actuated by a relay), headlights, and other car lighting applications or almost all electrical actuators, such as electromagnetic, electromechanical, and electrohydraulic. Additionally, it can be used in series (in place of a fuse) with most other circuits rated for 25A or less. You can directly observe the amperage and voltage going into an activated circuit, allowing you to assess the load's health. If an actuator is drawing more current than specified, or the current load is inconsistent during operation, the load/actuator is suspect and should be replaced.
