Supplementary Tools

Specialised socket for Holden 3.6L V6 Alloytech engines. The socket has an internal wedge which engages the relieft cut in the engine to allow rotation, when the balancer is removed.

A flywheel locking tool with application in a range of Holden engines. Locks the flywheel via the ring gear to allow the front pulley to be undone.

Needed to lock the flywheel when changing the cam belts or when transmission is removed. This tool holds the flexplate on automatic transmissions.

For removing / installing the water pump. For service, remove the access plate, then install ET1368 locking the timing chain & sprocket in place on 2.2L 16v Ecotec engines.

Adjusts the timing belt tension by turning water pump counter clockwise to relieve belt tension and vice versa. Due to the shape of the water pump / limited access this makes a difficult task easy.
