The ET6189A, is a precision workshop tool designed to securely lock the crankshaft or flywheel during critical Isuzu engine service procedures. It provides a controlled and approved method of preventing crankshaft rotation, ensuring accuracy and safety when carrying out timing and driveline related work.

The tool installs in place of the starter motor and engages directly with the flywheel ring gear, allowing the technician to safely retain the crankshaft while servicing components such as the flywheel, harmonic balancer, crank pulley, and timing system. Its precision machined engagement teeth ensure positive locking without damaging the ring gear, eliminating the risks associated with improvised or unapproved holding methods.
