This kit is designed for setting up camshaft timing on Mercedes AMG Bi Turbo engines. For 2019 onwards vehicles, please check with the factory manual as to whether you require updated cam adaptors (ET1777C).

A newly introduced master kit for M256 timing. The M256 is a late model engine that replaces the M276. The M256 engine is a straight 6 cylnder with 2.5L / 3.0L variants.

The pin is for installing the plug into the timing case cover (accessing the chain tensioner). The second part is for unloading the chain tensioning device. To release the timing chain, insert this item into the timing case and push back the tensioning rail.
