Inflated / warped chrome plated caps are a common problem, especially on some Ford vehicles. Standard sized wheel nut sockets will not fit, and a half sized variant is required.

These triangular sockets are designed to suit VAG TDi engines, Bosch diesel injectors and other specialist fittings (such as Thorn lighting setups).

Applications include replacing pump seals / adjusting timing on all TDi injector pumps (96-03). Does not work with ALH style injection pumps.
