This kit is designed for setting up camshaft timing on Mercedes AMG Bi Turbo engines.

The pin is for installing the plug into the timing case cover (accessing the chain tensioner). The second part is for unloading the chain tensioning device. To release the timing chain, insert this item into the timing case and push back the tensioning rail.

This holding tool locks the left intake cam in position when servicing the cam chain drive.

Simply place the tool in the rear intake cam and bolt to cylinder head. This locks the cam in place, preventing it from rotating.
